FIRST® (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a not-for-profit organization started in 1989, with a mission is to inspire the next generation of science and technology leaders by engaging students in programs designed to promote not only the philosophies of STEM, but to foster a genuine love for learning, self confidence, communication, leadership, and more!
Our team has been a part of the FIRST® Robotics Competitions since 2014, each year’s team building on the success of their predecessors. We hope to pass on our appreciation and passion for learning by attending outreach events within our community to promote the world of robotics! Within the team, there are four major groups - Build, Programming, Sponsorship, and Media. Together, we work to provide each student with the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive!
